Grateful Day #51

Today I am grateful for Christina's new Allergy Doctor, Dr Melker. He and his staff are awesome! We were seen on time and at no time did I feel like we were rushed or not listened to. His bedside manner was amazing. He answered every question I had and even some I hadn't thought of. Additionally, he took the time to show us exactly what he was talking about. Again, more detail than I needed (After all, Captain Squeemish - is my middle name).

I think the way coolest thing he did was electronically send a prescription to our pharmacy. He pushed a button on his tablet computer (cool in and of itself)and we heard a "bing" and it was sent. Then there was another "bing" when the pharmacy accepted it. No need to take a paper prescription and then wait for it to be filled.

I am so excited that someone used technology to make my day easier. Today, that was something for which I am very grateful!
